Lama Sonam Tsering Rinpoche Making Smoke Offerings During Riwo Sangchod Puja |
Treasure Vase with Sacred Contents |
In order to benefit the earth and all beings in this challenging time, on Wednesday, April 22, the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, Lama Sonam Rinpoche will be carrying out two special activities at Pema Osel Ling.
- Lama Sonam Rinpoche and Tulku Jamyang Rinpoche will be doing Riwo Sang Chod offering at the site of the Red Dorje Drolo Stupa Mandala, to accumulate merit by making offerings to purify environmental contaminants and our own obstructions, defilements and negative karma, and to cure diseases swiftly.*
- At 10:30 am, Lama Sonam Rinpoche will bury a treasure vaseon the hill just to the north of our Guru Rinpoche statue. Burying treasure vases is one of the most powerful methods to balance the elements, help heal the environment and protect against disease, for us and the whole world at this difficult time. Learn more about our treasure vases here.
Please enjoy this beautiful prayer The Verses of the Eight Noble Auspicious Ones by Mipham Rinpoche, which we recite before Riwo Sang Chod and at the beginning of new activities.
We will be posting video and photos.
