Riwo Sang Chó Puja and Tsok Led By Tulku Jamyang Rinpoche
Followed by Beach Cleanup
April 22, 2:00 pm
Tulku Thadral Rinpoche will give a special teaching for Earth Day, April 22 at 10 am in the Pema Osel Ling shrine Room. All are welcome to attend in-person or by livestreaming.
“Riwo Sang Chö is one of the most powerful practices for benefiting both the living and the deceased. In this practice, we make offerings to everyone with whom we have a karmic connection and repair damage caused over many lives. This will remove obstacles to health and life force and create auspicious circumstances for enlightenment for ourselves and others.”
~ HH Dudjom Rinpoche ~
Following the teaching Tulku Jamyang Rinpoche will lead a Riwo Sang Chö puja, at 2 pm, at Platforms State Beach. Since the 2024 Earth Day theme is "Planet vs. Plastics", we will spend time picking up plastics and other trash on the beach. Everyone is welcome to join us for the teaching, puja, and beach clean-up party!
We will plant a Redwood Tree at Pema Osel Ling in your name for any Treasure Vase that is purchased during this month.
Tibetan Treasure Vases were passed down from Guru Rinpoche through the unbroken Dudjom Lineage as a remedy to alleviate the suffering caused by elemental disturbances, both inner and outer. A powerful force to rebalance and restore, the Treasure Vase is truly a blessing needed in our current turbulent times.
