Thursday, July 27th, is one of the four great Holy Days of the Tibetan calendar, Chökhor Düchen. This is the day the Buddha first turned the Wheel of Dharma by teaching the Four Noble Truths.
The Truth of Suffering
The Truth of the Cause of Suffering
The Truth of Freedom from Suffering
The Truth of the Way to Eliminate Suffering
Lama Sonam Rinpoche reminds us that, "in this world, this was the first time the dharma was heard, opening the door to the enlightenment path. That is why this day is so important and such a special occasion."
We will celebrate with Buddha Puja, Shower of Blessings and tsok offering in our shrine room at 7 PM, and invite you to attend if you live in or are traveling through the area.
