We have all become aware
that Pema Osel Ling, in the
Santa Cruz Mountains, is
extremely vulnerable to
both increasing wildfires
and extreme winter storms
with severe flooding.
We wanted to share the good news that we just received a MATCHING GRANT for our Fire Prevention and Storm Preparedness Campaign . Every donation up to $5,000 will be doubled!
Thanks to the kind generosity of our sangha, we have already raised $20,000! Now, if we raise just $5,000 more, it will be doubled and we will meet our $30,000 goal!
If you are able to make a year-end donation, your offering will go twice as far in helping us complete these vital projects that will protect Pema Osel Ling from wildfires and extreme storms:
- Clearing brush to create fire breaks
- Trimming and removing trees
- Improving fire response systems
- Installing better drainage for roads and buildings
